This is the wetland with a water level of 3.32′ MLLW

And this is low water, 1.34′ MLLW. Parts of what used to be navigable water are now dry.

Here you see one of the sources of brown water in the wetland and in the lake, residential home development at Olomana Heights. There is a lot of exposed red dirt, without adequate BMPs, that erode into the wetland and lake, before eventually going into Kailua Bay.
